It is ok not to feel ok right now. Life feels pretty scary with all of the uncertainty. This is certainly a lot to navigate and everyone is figuring it out a day at a time. Feeling anxious and fearful is completely normal and there is no right or wrong way to feel. You might feel like you are alone in this, and I want you to know that everyone is affected and suffering in their own way (even if their suffering looks different from yours). You are not alone and you do not have to suffer in silence.

I want you to feel empowered in knowing that we are all doing the best we can. It takes a lot of courage to make this first step and reach out to ask for help. I am here to help you navigate the ups and the downs, the ins and the outs of these crazy times.

As a naturally intuitive person, you are so in touch with your feelings that it is painful. As an empath, it is difficult not to absorb the energy of those around you. These qualities are strengths and yet these same strengths are the ones that keep you feeling anxious, depressed, and drained. Your sensitivity is what makes you feel connected to the world and to those around you. At the same time it is overwhelming. I am also an empath and for a long time thought this was a weakness. I now feel empowered in knowing that it is a great gift. You already have everything you need to start feeling better- sometimes it just takes a little bit of outside support.

Meet Meredith Futernick

As an empath and intuitive person, I have faced feelings similar to what you are experiencing now. I still have to protect my own energy regularly and use the tools that we will discuss in our sessions together. My training as a therapist, yoga instructor, healer, and hypnotherapist has provided me with even more insight into the gifts that come with being sensitive and aware.
